Unusual Penetrating Head Injury- A Rare Case Report

Background: Foreign body invasion of the brain can cause traumatic injury with severe complications. In most cases, it be a late diagnosis. We reported here case from foreign and, after being invested patient was taken for emergency craniotomy successfully removal body. Case Report: A 12 yr. old boy developed headache and vomiting 2 days his head hit on bundle sticks back while riding cycle. On examination, conscious oriented. No deficit. Diagnosis confirmed an CT that showed right temporal bone fracture piercing into lobe. Right wooden done. The managed IV antibiotics anticonvulsants. Post-op done no evidence hospitalized recovered sequelae. Conclusion: Penetrating injuries are very serious have life-threatening Precautious action should as soon possible investigations imaging. Prognosis depends severity involvement structures. Early diagnosis immediate procedure always has favorable outcomes.
